Each branch of government (Executive Branch, Administrative Branch, and the Judicial Branch) has an official seal as does every Department, Major position (such as the Major Executive, Minor Executive, Executives without a department seal, and the Speaker of the Administration), Agency, and the Triumvirate as a whole. Seals are the official symbol of these institutions and documents or proclamations issued by them are considered marked by these seals. The original Triumvirate seals that were drawn were all designed and created by Head of Intelligence Ascencia, many of the digital ones were put together by General Media and Head of Media Pembrook.
The Universal Triumvirate
The Seal of the Universal Triumvirate is the national seal for the entire Universal Triumvirate. It is composed of a black and white color scheme (the national colors of the Triumvirate). The center of the seal contains a Great Horned Owl, the national animal of the Triumvirate, carrying the flag of the Union. Nine stars fly above the owl, three for each branch of government, three for each founding Executive, and three for each founding ideal. The words "THE UNIVERSAL TRIUMVIRATE" adorn the top of the seal while the phrase "FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE, WE RISE" adorn the bottom, a play on Zerouh's original statement during his debut: "For the sake of Justice, I rise".
Branches of Government
The Executive Branch seal is a bold emblem with a gray and dark blue color scheme displaying seven individuals at a table, Executives, representing the seven original Executive positions. At the head of the table on one end is the Major Executive, and at the bottom is the flag of the Triumvirate. The words "The Executive Branch of the Universal Triumvirate" adorn the top of the seal while the bottom states "INTELLIGENCE", a reference to the founding principle of Intelligence that the Executive Branch embodies.
The Administrative Branch has a seal which, plainly so, shows a large discussion chamber. This is to show the masses and the populace. On the top of the seal the words "The Administrative Branch of the Universal Triumvirate" are shown. Below them, the phrase "ORDER" is presented. This is a reference to the founding ideal of order which the Administrative Branch embodies.
The Judicial Branch seal is composed in a brown color scheme with a judicial building representing the strength and equality of the judicial branch. There are five stars, one for each Justice on the Supreme Court, with a large one to symbolize the Chief Justice. The words on the upper portion of the seal are "Judicial Branch of the Universal Triumvirate" and the text on the bottom states "JUSTICE", a reference to the founding principle of Justice that the judiciary and the courts embody.
While departments technically fall under the Executive Branch, they each are managed by Executive heads so they present a substantial and very important part of Triumvirate hierarchy.
Department of State
The Department of State seal has the national animal of the Triumvirate in the center, surrounding by a blue color scheme. The first part of the Department's motto is displayed reading, "Diplomacy never fails."
Department of Intelligence
The seal of the Department of Intelligence is primarily composed of a cobra representing the defensive and wisdom role of the Department of Intelligence, though the snake surrounds a sword, indicating the duties and powers of the Department in defense. Around these icons in the center are the words "Universal Triumvirate Department of Intelligence".
Department of Justice
The seal of the Department of Justice consists of a gavel representing the knowledge of law and the relationship with the court it has. The words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Department of Justice" surround the seal.
Department of the Treasury
The seal of the Department of the Treasury is very similar to the seal of the preceding Department of Finance. It has a key to represent the "bank of the government" and the wealth amassed. The words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Department of the Treasury" are displayed around this.
Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce maintains a relatively simple seal; the seal is composed of a ship representing trade and commerce which is the focus of the department. Surrounding this icon are the words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Department of Commerce".
Department of Naturalization
The seal of the Department of Naturalization is made up of a green-white color scheme, with a group of people standing in a triangle to represent the citizenship of the Triumvirate. The Department's motto, "Active, informed, expanding," is placed inside the seal.
Department of the Archive
The Department of the Archive seal is composed of an open book, demonstrating the writing and recording of history and how it is an open process. The words "Preserving the past for the prosperity of the future", the motto of the Department, encircle the book.
Department of Media
The Seal of the Department of Media is composed of a radio tower, demonstrating the department's duty to communicate and broadcast on behalf of the Triumvirate. The Department's motto, "Power through image," is also included.
Department of Education
The Seal of the Department of Education speaks for itself. It contains a stack of books representing learning, knowledge, and teaching.
Government Security Agency
The Government Security Agency, being the agency dedicated to the defense of the most powerful individuals in the Triumvirate, possesses a seal with a dark tone. A mixture of black, gray, and red, the seal has a spider engraved in the center representing the cunning intellect and threatening nature of the agency to those who threaten what they stand for. The words "Universal Triumvirate Government Security Agency" surround the arachnid.
The Major Executive
The Seal of the Major Executive is simple yet powerful. It is composed of a victorious fist reaching upward to represent the history and the role of the position. The fist also represents the power and restraint used by those in the office. Around the fist are the words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Office of the Major Executive".
Speaker of the Administration
The Seal of the Speaker of the Administration depicts a man speaking into a microphone, speaking to the Union on behalf of the Administration. The words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Office of the Speaker of the Administration" encircle the central image.
Underspeaker of the Administration
The Seal of the Underspeaker of the Administration is similar to that of the Speaker of the Administration in that it depicts a man speaking into a microphone, but he is speaking from the side rather than from the center (unlike the Speaker's seal, which is more central and more direct) to symbolize the fact that the Underspeaker represents the minority rather than the majority. The words "Universal Triumvirate" and "Office of the Underspeaker of the Administration" adorn the outside of the seal.
The Seal of the Office of the Administrative Liaison presents shaking hands, indicating the office's role in negotiating and working between many politicians and between the Executive Branch and the Administrative Branch. The motto "cooperation through communication" is also included.
The offices of the Senators share a seal that depicts a political figure at a podium adorned by the words "Office of the Senator of the Executive Branch."
Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce in the Triumvirate also has a seal, which has a blue-gold color scheme.
